Illinois Statutes Chapter 5. General Provisions § 615/5. Compensation to be paid before commencing operations

§ 5. No permittee shall commence any operation upon lands covered by his permit until he has compensated the owners of private rights therein according to law and has compensated the State of Illinois for damage to the surface rights of the State in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted by the Department.
