Illinois Statutes Chapter 5. General Provisions § 490/185. Eat Local, Buy Illinois Products Day

§ 185. Eat Local, Buy Illinois Products Day. The first Saturday of each month is designated as Eat Local, Buy Illinois Products Day to promote local food initiatives, Illinois agribusiness, and to encourage residents to re-invest in the local economy. The Department of Agriculture's Illinois Product Logo Program shall assist in increasing awareness and sales of Illinois food and agribusiness products.
