§ 6. The Governor is authorized and directed, for and in the name of this State, from time to time to execute an agreement with other member states of the Interstate Oil Compact Commission to extend said Compact for a period of 4 years from September 1, 1963, and each 4 years thereafter for a like period, in conformity with approval thereof by the Congress of the United States. Nothing herein contained shall affect the power of the Governor to withdraw this State from said Compact in accordance with Section 3 of this Act.
