§ 5. Legislative findings. The Illinois General Assembly finds that manufactured homes are a viable housing resource for many citizens in Illinois. The General Assembly also finds that improperly installed manufactured homes can impair the public health and safety. Therefore, it is in the public interest that manufactured homes are properly installed by responsible and qualified individuals.
