§ 33. Agreements and training programs.
(1) The Agency is authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements with the Federal Government, other States, interstate agencies, or other State agencies whereby this State will perform, on a co-operative basis with the Federal Government, other States, interstate agencies, or other State agencies, inspections or other functions relating to control of sources of ionizing radiation or relating to the State role provided for in the Federal Facility Compliance Act of 1992. 1
(2) The Agency may institute training programs for the purpose of qualifying personnel to carry out the provisions of this Act, and may make said personnel available for participation in any program or programs of the Federal Government, other States or interstate agencies in furtherance of the purposes of this Act.
