§ 59.8. Public participation. Prior to issuing a permit for carbon sequestration activity, the Agency shall issue a public notice of the permit application and draft permit. The public notice shall include a link to a website where copies of the permit application or draft permit, and all included attachments that are not protected under the Freedom of Information Act are posted, and shall provide information concerning the comment period on the permit application or draft permit and instructions for how to request a hearing on the permit application or draft permit. The Agency shall provide an opportunity for public comments on the permit application or draft permit, and shall hold a public hearing upon request. The Agency will make copies of all comments received available on its website and consider those comments when rendering its permit decision.
