§ 7. The Department may administer a grant program from monies appropriated for that purpose from the Used Tire Management Fund, in order to carry out the Department's responsibilities under this Act, to assist local health authorities acting as its agents under Section 6, and to promote the utilization of integrated pest management programs by local health authorities and other units of local government. Priority shall be given to pest management in areas associated with or evidently affected by the transportation, storage, treatment or disposal of used tires.
