§ 5-108.2. Exemption from charges; veterans. Any veteran who receives services provided by a State mental health facility that are not covered by the veteran's existing insurance plan shall not be liable for any charges as set forth in Sections 5-105, 5-106, and 5-107 of this Code. For purposes of this Section, “veteran” means an Illinois resident who is a veteran as defined under subsection (h) of Section 1491 of Title 10 of the United States Code.
