§ 1-102. “Care and custody” means authorization to an appropriate person, with his consent, to provide or arrange for proper and adequate treatment of another person who is subject to involuntary admission but does not include the authority to require hospitalization of the recipient unless such authority is expressly granted by court order pursuant to Article VII of Chapter III. 1
