§ 7-172.2. In addition to the payments otherwise required by this Article, each participating municipality and each participating instrumentality shall make payment of Social Security contributions and medicare taxes in the amounts and in the manner provided by law. Each employee shall make contributions for Federal Social Security and medicare taxes, for periods during which he or she is a covered employee, as required by the Social Security Enabling Act and State and federal law.
