§ 5-226. Examination and report by Director of Insurance. The Director of Insurance biennially shall make a thorough examination of the fund provided for in this Article. He or she shall report the results thereof with such recommendations as he or she deems proper to the Governor for transmittal to the General Assembly, and send a copy to the board and to the city council of the city. The city council shall file such report and recommendations in the official record of its proceedings.
The requirement for reporting to the General Assembly shall be satisfied by filing copies of the report as required by Section 3.1 of the General Assembly Organization Act, 1 and filing such additional copies with the State Government Report Distribution Center for the General Assembly as is required under paragraph (t) of Section 7 of the State Library Act. 2
