§ 3-114.4. Return to active duty after disability. A police officer who receives a disability pension under Section 3-114.1, 3-114.2, or 3-114.6 for more than 2 years and who returns to active duty must remain in active police service for at least 5 years before becoming eligible for a disability pension greater than the pension paid for the prior disability.
