§ 24-103. The deferred compensation program established by this Article shall exist and serve in addition to other retirement, pension and benefit systems established by the State, units of local government or school districts. Any compensation deferred under such a plan shall continue to be included as regular compensation for the purpose of computing the retirement and pension benefits earned by any employee, to the extent that such inclusion is not inconsistent with the other applicable Articles of this Code.
