§ 22A-101. Establishment. The Illinois State Board of Investment is created with authority to manage, invest and reinvest, the reserves, funds, assets, securities and moneys of any pension fund, as provided in this Article, or education fund as provided by law, and to perform such other duties as may from time to time be authorized by the General Assembly.
