§ 21-102.19. Optional medicare coverage. “Optional medicare coverage” means coverage in the Federal Medicare Insurance Program, by means of a voluntary coverage agreement, of State or local government personnel who are in positions not covered under the Federal Social Security Insurance Program, and who were performing regular and substantial services for such State or local government on March 31, 1986, and who have not terminated such service after March 31, 1986.
