Illinois Statutes Chapter 40. Pensions § 5/17-157. Effect of amendments

§ 17-157. Effect of amendments. Whenever an amendment which is, has been or may be enacted, proposes liberalizing changes in qualifying conditions or increases in benefits, the amendment shall be applicable only to persons who, on or after its effective date, are teachers, providing that an amendment shall be applicable to a former teacher who is reinstated as a contributor.
