§ 16-157. Consent to deductions--discharge of claims. Every member is deemed to have consented to the contributions required under this Article. Payment of salary or compensation less the required contribution shall be a complete discharge and acquittance of all salary and compensation claims and demands for the member's services rendered during the period covered by such payment.
