§ 15-192. Retirement Systems Reciprocal Act. The “Retirement Systems Reciprocal Act”, being Article 20 of this Code as now enacted and hereafter amended, is hereby adopted and shall apply to and govern the operations of this system. “An Act to provide for reciprocal allowance of credits for retirement, death and disability benefits between the State Employees' Retirement System of Illinois, the University Retirement System of Illinois and the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois, and for the transfer of certain funds between said systems”, approved August 8, 1947, and repealed in 1963, 1 is superseded by the provisions of the “Retirement Systems Reciprocal Act”, except insofar as said Act of August 8, 1947, may govern rights of persons receiving benefits or who may hereafter receive benefits by virtue of said Act.
