§ 3a. Lead poisoning. No later than July 1, 2020, the lead agency shall adopt rules to update 89 Ill. Adm. Code 500.Appendix E by: (i) expanding the list of Medical Conditions Resulting in High Probability of Developmental Delay to include lead poisoning as a medical condition approved by the lead agency for the purposes of this Act; and (ii) defining “confirmed blood lead level” and “elevated blood lead level” or “EBL” to have the same meanings ascribed to those terms by the Department of Public Health in 77 Ill. Adm. Code 845.20.
