§ 1.5. Implementation of Executive Order No. 3 of 2004; termination of the Illinois Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Pharmaceutical Assistance Program. Executive Order No. 3 of 2004, in part, provided for the transfer of the programs under this Act from the Department of Revenue to the Department on Aging and the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. It is the purpose of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly to conform this Act and certain related provisions of other statutes to that Executive Order. This amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly also makes other substantive changes to this Act.
It is the purpose of this amendatory Act of the 97th General Assembly to terminate the Illinois Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Pharmaceutical Assistance Program on July 1, 2012.
