§ 37. Medical assistance program standards for pediatric palliative care services. The Department, in consultation with interested stakeholders, shall establish standards for the provision of pediatric palliative care services under the medical assistance program under Article V of the Illinois Public Aid Code. The Department shall establish standards for and provide technical assistance to managed care organizations, as defined in Section 5-30.1 of the Illinois Public Aid Code, to ensure the delivery of pediatric palliative care services to qualifying children.
