§ 50. Statutory exemptions. Awards of economic incentives made pursuant to this Act are exempt from the Corporate Accountability for Tax Expenditures Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and Section 45 of the State Finance Act, and any rules adopted under those authorities. In addition, non-competitive awards of economic incentives made pursuant to this Act are exempt from the public notice of funding opportunity (NOFO), merit review, audit, and grant payment method provisions of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) and the corresponding GATA rules associated with NOFOs, merit reviews, audits, and grant payment methods.
