Illinois Statutes Chapter 30. Finance § 555/4. Department to investigate violations and institute prosecutions

§ 4. The Department of Natural Resources shall, upon its own motion or upon complaint, investigate any violations of this Act. If after any such investigation such Department is satisfied that any of the provisions of this Act have been violated, it shall institute proceedings for the prosecution of such violators in the circuit court.
