§ 13.1. For the sole purpose of providing funding for the Illinois Sports Facilities Fund, as soon as may be after the first day of each month and subsequent to the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1986, the Department shall first pay directly into the Illinois Sports Facilities Fund to be credited to the Subsidy Account, 1/8 of $5,000,000, plus any cumulative deficiencies in such payments for prior months, from the Local Government Distributive Fund, which is allocable to municipalities with a population in excess of 500,000. In no event shall an amount in excess of $5,000,000 be paid pursuant to this Section into the Illinois Sports Facilities Fund during any fiscal year.
