§ 6z-15. All monies received as fees and civil penalties under the Illinois Oil and Gas Act 1 shall be paid into the Underground Resources Conservation Enforcement Fund, a special fund in the State treasury which is hereby created. All earnings on monies in the Fund shall be deposited in the Fund. Monies in the fund shall be annually appropriated to the Department of Natural Resources for the enforcement of the laws of this State relating to oil and gas and of rules and regulations adopted by the Department pursuant to such law.
