Illinois Statutes Chapter 30. Finance § 105/36. Energy consumption projects; contracts; payment

§ 36. Contracts entered into by the Department of Central Management Services pursuant to Section 405-295 of the Department of Central Management Services Law (20 ILCS 405/405-295) may provide for payment to the vendor to be determined, wholly or partially, on demonstrated savings in energy consumption. Payments for such projects shall be paid by the agency or agencies that benefit from the project. Funds which otherwise would have been used to pay for utilities may be used to pay the costs associated with the energy savings project contract.
