§ 45.62. All defects in or damages or injury to machinery or timbering or to apparatus and equipment generally in and about a mine, all unsafe or dangerous conditions in any part of the mine, and all accidents occurring in the course of mining operations, other than those of a purely minor character, even though not resulting in personal injury, shall be promptly reported to the mine foreman or superintendent by the person observing the same.
