Illinois Statutes Chapter 225. Professions,Occupations and Business Operations § 710/45.44. Stopes opening from floor of drift; protection

§ 45.44. Stopes opening directly from the floor of a drift shall be protected by a fence or a substantial hand rail not less than 3 1/2 feet nor more than 4 feet in height above the floor of the drift or such stopes shall be securely planked over.
