§ 12. Record of hearing. In accordance with Section 10-35 of the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act, 1 the Department shall preserve a record of all proceedings at the hearing of any case involving refusal to issue or renew a license, or the suspension or revocation of a license, or the referral of a case for criminal prosecution. The record of any such proceeding consists of the notice of hearing, complaint, and all other documents in the nature of pleadings and written motions filed in the proceedings, the transcript of testimony and the report and orders of the Department. Copies of the transcript of the record may be obtained from the Department in accordance with the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act. 2
