§ 145. Temporary suspension of a license. The Secretary may temporarily suspend the license of a home medical equipment and services provider without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 95 of this Act, if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that the home medical equipment and services provider's continuation in business would constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Secretary temporarily suspends the license of a home medical equipment and services provider without a hearing, a hearing by the Board must be held within 30 days of the suspension.
