§ 10-30. Continuing education. The Department shall adopt rules for continuing education of cemetery managers and customer service employees. The continuing education programs may consist of education and training in cemetery ethics, cemetery law, and cemetery practices as defined in Section 10-25 of this Act. An entity seeking to offer a continuing education program to cemetery managers and customer service employees must receive approval of its program from the Department in a manner and form prescribed by the Department by rule. Cemetery managers shall be required to complete 6 hours of continuing education during each renewal cycle. Customer service employees shall be required to complete 3 hours of continuing education during each renewal cycle.
