§ 19. Requirements of approval by Board of Environmental Health Practitioners. The Secretary may consider the recommendations of the Board in establishing guidelines for professional conduct, for the conduct of formal disciplinary proceedings brought under this Act, and for establishing guidelines for qualifications and examinations of applicants. Notice of proposed rulemaking shall be transmitted to the Board. The Department shall review the response of the Board and its recommendations. The Department, at any time, may seek the expert advice and knowledge of the Board on any matter relating to the administration or enforcement of this Act.
