§ 115. Temporary suspension. The Secretary may summarily suspend the license of an environmental health practitioner without a hearing, simultaneously with the initiation of proceedings for a hearing provided for in this Act, if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that an environmental health practitioner's continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. In the event that the Secretary summarily suspends the license of an environmental health practitioner without a hearing, a hearing by the Board must be commenced within 30 calendar days after the suspension has occurred.
