§ 4.4a. Background investigations; Department of Early Childhood. For the purposes of background investigations authorized in this Act, “license applicant” means the operator or person with direct responsibility for daily operation of the day care center, day care home, or group day care home to be licensed. In the case of facilities to be operated in a family home, as related to day care homes and group day care homes, the Department of Early Childhood may, by rule, require that other adult residents of that home also authorize such investigations.
