§ 13-512. Rules; review. The Commission shall have general rulemaking authority to make rules necessary to enforce this Article. However, not later than 270 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1997, and every 2 years thereafter, the Commission shall review all rules issued under this Article that apply to the operations or activities of any telecommunications carrier. The Commission shall, after notice and hearing, repeal or modify any rule it determines to be no longer in the public interest as the result of the reasonable availability of competitive telecommunications services.
