§ 155.26. No insurance company authorized to do business in Illinois may increase the premium rates for a renewal policy which insures an individual with a personal lines automobile insurance policy against any loss or liability resulting from or incident to the ownership, maintenance or use of any motor vehicle if the sole basis for the proposed increase is that the insured was convicted of no more than one offense for speeding where such speeding was not in excess of 10 miles an hour over the posted speed limit, and no claim for recovery of damages or loss has been paid by the insurer because of such offense.
