Illinois Statutes Chapter 215. Insurance § 5/143.20. Notice to Insured as to Eligibility of Illinois Automobile Insurance Plan

§ 143.20. Notice to Insured as to Eligibility of Illinois Automobile Insurance Plan. When a policy of automobile insurance is cancelled other than for nonpayment of premium or in the event of the renewal of a policy of automobile insurance to which Section 143.17 applies, the company shall notify the named insured of his possible eligibility for insurance through the Illinois Automobile Insurance Plan. Such notice shall accompany or be included in the notice of cancellation or in the notice of intent not to renew.
