Illinois Statutes Chapter 215. Insurance § 180/25. Request for external review

§ 25. Request for external review. A covered person or the covered person's authorized representative may make a request for a standard external or expedited external review of an adverse determination or final adverse determination. Except as set forth in Sections 40 and 42 of this Act, all requests for external review shall be made in writing to the Director. Health carriers must provide covered persons with forms to request external reviews.
