Illinois Statutes Chapter 210. Health Facilities and Regulation § 47/3-101. Licensure system

§ 3-101. Licensure system. The Department shall establish a comprehensive system of licensure for facilities in accordance with this Act for the purposes of:

(1) Protecting the health, welfare, and safety of residents; and

(2) Assuring the accountability for reimbursed care provided in certified facilities participating in a federal or State health program.
