§ 2. The Department of Natural Resources shall provide for the employment of a trained forester who, subject to the supervision of the Department, shall have control of the development and administration of such forest lands. The Department of Natural Resources shall prepare such standards of forest administration, development and management as are necessary to insure maximum feasible utility for timber production and watershed protection. The Department shall furnish the federal government, or the proper department or agency thereof, such annual, periodic or special reports as may be required under such cooperative agreement.
