§ 17a-7. Units of General Local Government--Agreements for Funds. Units of general local government may apply for, receive, disburse, allocate and account for grants of funds made available by the United States government, or by the State of Illinois, particularly including grants made available pursuant to the federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, 1 including subsequent amendments or reenactments, if any: and may enter into agreements with the Department or with the United States government which may be required as a condition of obtaining federal or State funds, or both.
