§ 5-105. Direction, supervision, and control of officers. Each officer named in the Sections following Section 5-100 and preceding Section 5-200 shall, except as otherwise provided in the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois, 1 be under the direction, supervision, and control of the director or secretary of the officer's respective department and shall perform the duties prescribed by the director or secretary.
