§ 405-240. Information concerning the State. To publish, from time to time, for the information of the several departments and of the general public, bulletins of the work of the government; to collect, compile, and disseminate information and literature concerning the industrial, agricultural, and recreational facilities and advantages, the historic and scenic places of interest, and the transportation and highway facilities of Illinois; to encourage and coordinate the efforts of other public and private organizations or groups of citizens to publicize the facilities and attractions of Illinois; and to use or employ or to contract for the use or employment of whatever advertising medium it may deem necessary to effectuate the purposes provided in this Section.
