§ 7.12. The Authority may acquire real property, or any interest therein, by purchase, foreclosure or otherwise; own, manage, operate, hold, clear, improve and rehabilitate such real property; and sell, assign, exchange, transfer, convey, lease, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of or encumber such real property. Any acquisition of real property, or an interest therein, or mortgage loan by the Authority, shall be deemed an acquisition of real property and shall be subject to the requirements of section 11-12-4.1 of the Illinois Municipal Code of 1961, as amended. 1
