Illinois Statutes Chapter 20. Executive Branch § 2620/2. Duties of the Illinois State Police

§ 2. The Illinois State Police shall enforce all laws regulating the production, sale, prescribing, manufacturing, administering, transporting, having in possession, dispensing, delivering, distributing or use of controlled substances as defined in the “Illinois Controlled Substances Act”,  1 and cannabis as defined in the “Cannabis Control Act” enacted by the 77th General Assembly, as now or hereafter amended,  2 and any other duties conferred upon the Illinois State Police by law.
