§ 2105-155. Suspension or termination of medical services provider under the Public Aid Code. When the Department receives notice from the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, as required by Section 2205-10 of the Department of Healthcare and Family Services Law (20 ILCS 2205/2205-10), that the authorization to provide medical services under Article V of the Illinois Public Aid Code 1 has been suspended or terminated with respect to any person, firm, corporation, association, agency, institution, or other legal entity licensed under any Act administered by the Department of Professional Regulation, the Department of Professional Regulation shall determine whether there are reasonable grounds to investigate the circumstances that resulted in the suspension or termination. If reasonable grounds are found, the Department of Professional Regulation shall conduct an investigation and take the disciplinary action against the licensee that the Department determines to be required under the appropriate licensing Act.
