§ 7.3. The Board shall designate Hearing Officers who shall conduct hearings upon complaints charging violations of this Act or of regulations thereunder, and such other hearings as may be provided by Department rule. The Board may hear appeals from the recommended decisions of its Hearing Officers in accordance with procedures established by Department rule. Whenever the Department issues a Notice of Assessment under Section 21 of this Act, the lottery sales agent may protest such Notice by filing a request for hearing within 20 days of the date of such Notice.
