§ 1-42. Department Ambassador. Subject to appropriation, as part of a pilot program, the Department shall designate one or more officials or employees to serve as Department Ambassadors. Department Ambassadors shall serve as a liaison between the Department and the public and shall have the following duties: (i) to inform the public about services available through the Department, (ii) to assist the public in accessing those services, (iii) to review the Department's methods of disseminating information, and (iv) to recommend and implement more efficient practices of providing services and information to the public where possible.
