§ 3.06. “Services” means those services designed to provide assistance to the aged such as nutritional programs, facilities improvement, transportation services, senior volunteer programs, senior companion programs, supplementary health services, programs for leisure-time activities, housing and employment counseling, benefits advocacy, and other informational, referral, and counseling programs to aid the aged in availing themselves of existing public or private services, or other similar social services intended to aid the senior citizen in attaining and maintaining self-sufficiency, personal well-being, and maximum participation in community life.
