Illinois Statutes Chapter 15. Executive Officers § 555/10. Selection of events to be commemorated

§ 10. Selection of events to be commemorated. The General Assembly shall select the events to be commemorated by joint resolution adopted by the affirmative vote of at least three-fifths of the members elected to each house. The State Treasurer may recommend a limit of the number of series of medallions to be issued in a calendar year by giving notice of the recommended limitation to the General Assembly before December 1 of the preceding calendar year.
